The Pre-Trials fun doesn’t end on the ice! Come on out to the official Pre-Trials mini-patch at The Church Brewing Company to take in some FREE shows as part of the celebrations. This 19+ mini-patch will provide a place for Curling fans to socialize while enjoying some live local entertainment from 9PM – 12AM on October 23, 24, and 25

Thursday, October 23 at 9PM: Colrain

Hailing from Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Colrain is an indie-folk-rock ensemble known for their rich lyrical content, polished instrumentals, and strong ties to their local community. While songwriting is a shared passion among its members, their true fulfillment lies in performing live, foraging connections with their audience. 

Friday, October 24: Sarah Pound & The Sequels

Sarah Pound & The Sequels is a Canadian band known for its soulful blend of folk, Americana, and roots music. Fronted by acclaimed singer-songwriter Sarah Pound, the band delivers powerful vocals, intricate harmonies, and richly textured instrumentation. Their performances carry an emotional depth that resonates with audiences in intimate settings as well as on large festival stages. With original songwriting at its core, Sarah Pound & the Sequels bring authenticity and artistry to every performance, establishing themselves as a compelling voice in the contemporary roots music scene.

Saturday, October 25: Mark Riley & Friends

The 2021 ANSMA award winner and 2022 ECMA and ANSMA multi-nominated Mark Riley has been a professional musician for several years and is also a multi-instrumentalist and Vocalist. He is a former Tenor and Soloist of the Nova Scotia Mass Choir, Cherrybrook Mass Choir and the Nova Gospel Ensemble. Mark resides just outside of Wolfville Nova Scotia. Mark performs with the Mark Riley Project, The Mark Riley Quartet, The Praise Messengers and the Shoulder to Shoulder band.
