Stagehands/Event Set Up
Are you a student or community member interested in gaining hands-on experience in the special event sector? Do you want to get a ‘behind the curtain’ peek inside concerts, conference, and sporting events? Events Acadia is recruiting a pool of casual stagehands to support the preparation, and set-up of special events. Stagehands will support Acadia’s operational team in tasks such as: installing the ice cover in arena, chair and table placement and labelling, stage set-up, and more. This work will require heavy lifting, along with evening and weekend hours, in order to meet the demands of our events.
