Acadia, one of Canada’s most picturesque and historic universities, situated in the heart of the Valley, is the chosen location for several weddings each year. Our beautiful facilities, coupled with our in-house A/V services, large-scale food & beverage capabilities, and our inventory of tables, chairs, and draping make Acadia a desired destination for ceremonies and receptions. Our Events Acadia team works with the Bride & Groom-to-be to support all venue-related needs ensuring the big day is the most memorable it can be!
Receptions, Dinners, Dances
With a maximum capacity of 500 guests for stand-up weddings or 400 for seated receptions, The Fountain Commons Great Hall is equipped with everything a Bride & Groom needs to bring their vision to life. The Great Hall can accommodate various seating configurations with our banquet style tables and chairs, and our Events Acadia Team will work with preferred, external suppliers to secure additional equipment and supplies, such as dance floors, florists, etc., as needed. Audiovisual, catering and bar services are also available.
Ceremony, Reception & Dance
All-inclusive wedding options (Ceremony, Reception & Dance) are available, along with full event planning services, to take the stress off of the Bride & Groom leading up to, and during their special day.
